The only reason this car is not on our main page is that the C Class is not one of our usual stock models, as it hasn't yet achieved the classic status we look for. Having said that, everything else about this particular car is 100% positive, and it must be one of the best of its type remaining. The current market value of this model represents such fantastic value for money that it just cannot be ignored.

It is finished in the distinctive Green/Black metallic colour which, for those not familiar with the MB colour chart, appears as metallic black with a subtle deep emerald green sparkle in strong lighting. This colour makes an excellent contrast with the grey interior, giving a very eye catching and satisfying combination.

The car was supplied new by Mercedes-Benz of Colindale, London in August 1996 and has had four owners in total. The latest one was a gentleman from Weybridge who has owned it since August 2008 and has covered 20,000 miles during that period, mainly on long distance commuting between home and Manchester.

Except for one service by a non-franchised garage it has been maintained exclusively within the Mercedes-Benz dealer network for its entire life, with a total of 14 stamps from MB dealers in London, Bedford, Beaconsfield, Stockport and Weybridge. All servicing has been done in advance of the recommended mileages, with an average service interval of just over 6,000 miles as against the manufacturer's recommended 9,000. As well as the fully stamped service book we have a substantial history file from its time with its latest owner, with invoices detailing almost £4,000 of recent servicing and maintenance expenditure.

The condition of the car is immaculate both inside and out, and it is a credit to its past owners. There is virtually no detectable wear and tear anywhere. It is mechanically superb with the driving characteristics of a much lower mileage vehicle. It has been serviced in January around 1,000 miles ago so has no scheduled expenditure due for about 8,000 miles.

We have not commissioned a mechanical check of the car as it has recently been done by Mercedes-Benz of Brooklands and their report is included with the latest service invoice. The car will be supplied with our own limited warranty, details of which can be supplied on request.
