This well specified saloon was purchased new in 1994 from Charles Sidney Mercedes-Benz of Bradford. It was delivered to its only owner, a garage proprietor living in Keighley, and was serviced by the supplying dealer until 1995, with three of their stamps in the book. After this the car was regularly serviced in the owner's own garage workshop, with a further six stamps over the next seven years, taking the mileage upto 27,000. It has now covered just over 34,000 miles. We have just had it serviced at Mercedes-Benz Macclesfield, bringing it right upto date with no further scheduled maintenance due for the next 9,000 miles.

The car looks superb in the rich deep red, and could easily pass for a one year old vehicle. The paintwork is almost perfect, the interior absolutely unmarked, and all fittings and equipment are present and in full working order. It drives beautifully, and feels like a new car, which is no doubt a result of the extremely sparing use and careful maintenance it has had over the years.

The W124 Mercedes cars are justly renowned as superb driving machines over any distance and understandably the supply of lower mileage, well kept examples is now running very short. The purchaser of this beautiful example will have a car of lasting quality and increasing rarity, which will be a delight to own and drive for many years to come.

We have commissioned a comprehensive mechanical check of the car by Mercedes-Benz Macclesfield. Any faults found have been remedied, and any required maintenance has been carried out (see above). Invoices for this work will be supplied with the car, along with our own warranty, details of which can be supplied on request.

This car is not fitted with air conditioning, in common with the majority of W124 cars when they left the factory. For those that want this feature we have recently secured from the original manufacturer a limited supply of the air conditioning kits which were regularly fitted by Mercedes-Benz dealers to the W124 models when they were new. We can therefore now offer a brand new air conditioning system on any of our W124 saloons, estates, coupes and cabriolets, fully fitted, for the much reduced price of £1,500 + VAT in addition to the purchase price. The installation is almost indistinguishable from the factory fitted system, and has the bonus of all components (compressor, condensor, receiver/dryer, expansion valve, evaporator core, switches, brackets, valves and piping) being brand new and operating at peak efficiency.
