It is quite unusual to find an E220 coupe with such a high specification as this one, and it is made all the more desirable by being finished in the much sought-after Azurite Blue metallic with cream leather. This combination looks gorgeous on the beautiful coupe body shape and it is no wonder it is so widely admired.

The car was supplied new by Malaya Mercedes-Benz of Epsom in October 1995 to a lady in Epsom. She kept it until 2001, when she sold it to a friend of hers in Sutton who has owned it until now.

For the first year of its life it was serviced by the supplying dealer, with three of their stamps in the book. After that there are three stamps from Mercedes-Benz Woking Motors. This takes it to 2003 when it went to its second owner. She initially had it serviced by Tony Purslow Mercedes-Benz of Epsom, with two of their stamps present, and thereafter by a local Saab specialist, from which there are four stamps, with several of the MB parts invoices also present at corresponding dates. From 2007 onwards she took it to a trusted non-franchised garage in Sutton from whom we have three service invoices. We have every old MoT certificate back to 2000, i.e. all but the first two, and many parts invoices. In all the service record shows everything as it should be for a very well maintained and cherished car.

The physical condition of the car confirms the cherished ownership and is magnificent throughout, with hardly a mark anywhere and all surfaces both inside and out having a fresh and new feel. It is a credit to those who have owned it, and drives beautifully, with all controls tight and precise. This car will be admired wherever it goes with its new owner.

We have commissioned a comprehensive mechanical check of the car by our independent Mercedes specialist. Any faults found have been remedied, and any required maintenance has been carried out. Invoices for this work will be supplied with the car, along with our own warranty, details of which can be supplied on request.
