The popular red and cream colour scheme suits this model particularly well, and this car carries it in immaculate style.

It was supplied new by Isaac Agnew Mercedes-Benz of Belfast in August 1989, and is one of the very last of the model to be built. There are two service stamps from the supplying dealer, but it stayed in Northern Ireland for less than a year before moving to Lancashire, where it remained until 1998. During this time it was serviced 13 times by Westwood Mercedes-Benz of Blackburn. It then moved to Altrincham, Cheshire where it was serviced four times by a local racing engineer and three times by a trusted local garage.

In February 2008 we purchased the car and supplied it to a gentleman in Surrey, after having it serviced and checked over by Mercedes-Benz Macclesfield. He looked after it properly and had 10,000 miles of enjoyable motoring over two years, including two services, but had to relinquish it due to a change in personal circumstances. We were happy to buy it back and recently sold it to a retired gentleman in Liverpool. Sadly a recurring back problem meant that he found getting in and out of the low seating position quite painful, so we have exchanged it for a W124 cabriolet, meaning that this lovely car is once more available. We are pleased to report that it remains in superb condition throughout after his short period of ownership.

The documented service history is extremely good, and as well as the fully stamped service book we have every old MoT back to 1998 and many service and maintenance invoices.

Each of the car's owners has spared no expense in the upkeep of this car and has used it most sympathetically. It is in fantastic condition in every respect, with near flawless paintwork and chrome, virtually unmarked interior trim and an excellent soft top. The driving qualities are superb and the overall experience suggests a much lower mileage than has actually been covered. It will provide lasting pleasure for its new owner.

We have commissioned a comprehensive mechanical check of the car by our independent Mercedes-Benz specialist. Any faults found have been remedied, and any required maintenance has been carried out. Invoices for this work will be supplied with the car, along with our own warranty, details of which can be supplied on request.
