This well optioned saloon was supplied new in January 1993 by Newgate Mercedes-Benz of Chester to a local gentleman, who kept it until 1996, by which time it had covered 14,000 miles. It was then supplied by the same dealer to the newly retired principal of a group of mainly Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the home counties when he retired to North Wales. He has owned it until now and it has been part of a collection of several cherished cars kept in Wales and France, but he is getting on in years and has reluctantly decided to thin out his car collection, so it is now available to a new owner.

The car was serviced by the supplying dealer until 2002, with 11 of their stamps in the book taking the mileage up to 52,000. After this its annual mileage reduced significantly and it was serviced five times on an elapsed-time basis by non-franchised garages in the area, taking the mileage up to its current 67,000. The last service was less than 1,000 miles ago, so it has over 5,000 miles to go before its next scheduled service. As well as the stamped up service book we have every old MoT certificate and many service and maintenance invoices.

The car looks very elegant in the traditional silver finish, and appears like a much younger vehicle. The paintwork is near perfect, the interior absolutely unmarked, and all fittings and equipment are present and in full working order. It drives beautifully, which is no doubt a result of the extremely sparing use and careful maintenance it has had with both its owners over the years.

We have commissioned a comprehensive mechanical check of the car by our independent Mercedes specialist. Any faults found have been remedied, and any required maintenance has been carried out. Invoices for this work will be supplied with the car, along with our own warranty, details of which can be supplied on request.
