This beautiful SL in the very popular Blue/Black metallic with contrasting cream leather looks gorgeous from any angle. All aspects of the car including paintwork, interior trim, soft top and wheels are in virtually as-new condition as befits the ultra-low mileage.

The car was supplied new to its only owner by Mercedes-Benz of Colindale, London in January 1994. She was an Egyptian lady who maintained homes in London and Cairo and has cherished it until now as her London car. She has always spent more time in Cairo than London, which explains its tiny mileage, but her several visits per year have ensured that the car has been regularly exercised throughout its life. Following the recent political changes in Egypt she has now moved back there permanently, so this fantastic car is now available to a new owner.

Despite the low mileage, servicing has not been skimped, with seven stamps from Mercedes dealers and two from independent Mercedes specialists, giving an average service interval of just over 1,500 miles as against the manufacturer's recommended 9,000, and in no case greater than 3,300 miles. The last service was less than 500 miles ago in October 2011, so there are over 8,500 miles to go before any scheduled maintenance is due.

We have all except two of the service invoices, plus several interim maintenance invoices, and the majority of the old MoT certificates dating back to the first one in 1997. All of this supports the mileage as being genuine, but generally the car speaks for itself, with every appearance of a one or two year old. Everything is exactly as it should be to show evidence of sensitive usage and careful maintenance without regard to expense for its entire life to date.

With its condition, mileage and ownership pattern this car is a very rare and desirable thing indeed. Given sensitive usage and maintenance from now on it will always remain a paragon of its type, with excellent prospects for classic appreciation in the future.

We have commissioned a comprehensive mechanical check of the car by our independent Mercedes-Benz specialist. Any faults found have been remedied, and any required maintenance has been carried out. Invoices for this work will be supplied with the car, along with our own warranty, details of which can be supplied on request.
