This very highly specified coupe is finished in the popular Azurite Blue metallic, which particularly suits this model in conjunction with the cream leather and is the combination we most often get asked for. It looks very elegant on the subtle lines of the coupe body and makes for a very satisfying combination which is absolutely in line with modern tastes.

The car was supplied new by Normand Mercedes-Benz of Mayfair in January 1996 to a senior partner of a commercial property consultancy in Harrow. He kept it for two years, after which it was purchased from Mercedes-Benz Sunningdale Carriage Co in March 1998 by a doctor from Virginia Water, Surrey showing 14,729 miles. He kept it for seven years until 2005, at which time it was acquired by a lady nearby in Esher who has owned it until now.

It was serviced exclusively by Normand MB while with its first owner, with two of their stamps in the book. The second owner initially had it serviced by Sunningdale MB, with three of their stamps present, and thereafter by a trusted local non-franchised garage, from which we have two invoices. The latest owner took it to a non-franchised garage in Teddington for an annual service and MoT, though there are only two stamps present from this period as, at her husband’s admission, she was not very good with the paperwork(!) We have most of the old MoT certificates back to 2001 and several service and maintenance invoices. We have had a full service carried out by our independent Mercedes specialist, so it is now ready for a further 9,000 miles without scheduled attention.

The condition of the car is superb throughout, and it is a credit to those who have owned it. It is mechanically superb and drives beautifully. It will be a lasting source of pleasure for its new owner.

We have commissioned a comprehensive mechanical check of the car by our independent Mercedes specialist. Any faults found have been remedied, and any required maintenance has been carried out (see above). Invoices for this work will be supplied with the car, along with our own warranty, details of which can be supplied on request.
